Staying happy is a need for every soul, especially for women. They go through umpteen
number of unspoken and ignored emotions. Some goes unnoticed because, they have
been taught not to speak out any of their problems (big or small) to outsiders.
Nothing can fuel happiness as much as the very conscious decision of staying happy can!
When you learn to control your 'negative incidents' and the reaction towards it, you will
learn to continue improving upon your happiness.
Taking control of our circumstances is next to impossible at times, but we can always
control our brain commanding it to react positively, patiently and calmly to those
unexpected scenarios.
Staying happy can never be a forced decision, rather a peaceful mindsetwhich suggests
us that, we need to feel happy from within in every circumstances. Sometimes we have
everything in life, yet we search for reasons to feel and stay happy all the time.
A good understanding of factors that contribute in our happiness is just enough to practice
peace and cheerfulness. Remember when we are happy from within, everything looks
positive and hopeful, and we stay happy as a woman.
Now that you all have been practicing different ways to "be happy" and stay happy, let me
share some more insightful wisdom to continue living happily forever. I am sure the first
six steps would have helped you to understand your inner
self and the reasons behind frequent dwelling of sad feelings and negative emotions in
your heart and mind.

7. Often treat yourself.
Treat yourself with the simplest pleasures in life rather than looking for big treats. Big
expectations can never makes us happy for a longer period of time. Embrace small little
things that you may have never noticed, but actually made you happy from within and you
were satisfactorily peaceful.
I want to list few 'small things' that makes me happy, and I consider them as treats for my
heart, mind and soul:
Taking time to finish my morning cup of tea.
Reading my favorite books.
Lying in the bed and thinking about sweet old memories.
Having a long conversation with my best friend (s) over phone.
Organising my closet and accessories.
Putting on a new dress that was in my closet from a very long time.
Creating 'look good day' day for myself I love this day, as I take extra special
care of my beauty, look and fashion; and this makes me feel so very happy and
beautiful from inside.
Taking brisk walk alone and enjoying nature's miracles.
Treating myself with some good food or favorite dish someday.
Going on a 'low budget' window shopping.
Clicking my daughter or nature's beauty.
Treating myself with a new hairstyle, relaxing facial, manicure & pedicure.
8. Have a bunch of 'trusted friends' in life.
Friends are important in life, but choosing the right type of friend you would like to hang
out with is even more important. I always believe friends should be trustworthy. They
should value you and your friendship. They should keep your secrets and act like a
positive force for you. Nobody likes to hold friendship with the ones who envies you or
are jealous of you in any ways.
9. Save money secretly
I do not want you to worry about any big saving plan or any huge savings for a secure
tomorrow, as this will again make you worried and unhappy. Just save a little everyday on
everyday expenses. Such small 'casual' savings that you make along the way can help to
fatten up your piggy bank for any (big or small) future use. This is also a good way to feel
independent for all stayathome mothers.
10. Stay connected spiritually
One of the most important factor that contributes in peace and calmness. Practice for a
stable mind and an obedient heart by connecting yourself to God and his teachings.
Surprisingly you will find all answers to your questions.
11. Often do self talk
The best way to solve any kind of problems in life; is by doing a positive selftalk. Find the
reasons that trigger unhappiness, anxiety, anger, jealous, fear or uncertainity in your life.
Nobody can best judge you honestly than by yourself. Know the reasons and the positive
and negative 'you.'
12. Find ways to "live your dreams."
To live a happy life, we need to live our dreams. You can always give me reasons to
show that this is never posible, but try, try and try if you can live it, even partly. If you are
trying, I am sure you will believe that everything is possible with a little dedication,
hardwork and consistency.
13. Wear an happy attitude towards problems
There is nobody in this world who doesn't have problems. Some may pretend that they
are the happiest, but they are definitely hiding many truths. So problems will never leave
us until we leave this life. Embrace life as it is and always stay happy, because an 'happy
attitude' even towards problems will give you all strength and courage to deal with life's
ups and downs.
14. Find out what really matters to you in life
Focus on matters that are important for you and your family. Leave the rest, as even if we
try harder, we cannot solve all the problems in our life; we cannot make everyone happy
and we cannot achieve what others have received in life. So feel satisfied with your
possession and achievements. Many do not have what we have. So feel blessed and stay
happy.
15. Find a job and keep yourself engaged in career
I always believe, we as a woman should be independent in life. Having a satisfying career
will do justice to our identity. Any working women feel complete and important when they have a secured job. Most of the times we feel neglected and unimportant, because we feel we cannot contribute any financial help to family, kids and oneself. So another way to stay happy and busy in life is by working.
16. Create space in family
A family isn't just about love, happiness and togetherness. It also should focus on caring
each other's emotions and respecting one another's decisions. Try to develop a space for
belonging. This creates confidence and importance in the minds and hearts of every
member in the family.
17. Often look good, even in your pajamas
Before you go to bed at night, try to stand in front of the mirror and say it to yourself, "I am
getting beautiful day by day." Try and pamper yourself with some scented night creams or
lip balms or foot smoothing cream and wear your favorite pajamas, sleepshirts or night
gowns. Make yourself look beautiful even when others don't see you, as 'you' matter and
you must feel good and attractive while looking at yourself in the mirror.
18. Be imperfect and peaceful
The chase behind being perfect will take us nowhere, instead will dump us into the pile of
negative thoughts. It is absolutely ok to be imperfect in almost everything, as you will get
plenty of space to learn, implement, change and improve, and nothing can be as perfect
as that! I believe,"more than any help, peace of mind is important for a happy and
healthy living. When you are peaceful, you can be of big help to yourself."
19. Stop being envious and love your life, the way it is.
Love the way your life meets you. Your life may not be as good as your friends, sister or
colleagues, but definitely there are many good things about your life that others don't
have. So treasure them and be thankful to God.
20. Keep yourself motivated and inspired.
I always try to hold my chin up, even in bad weather, beacuse who knows; I might miss a
pleasant view. To say, "everytime life makes you feel low and miserable and forces you to
hate yourself and the circumstances around you, find reasons to stay motivated and
hopeful." Bad times also bring good times with it.
